Prairie Queen Recreation Area

Sunday, March 2, 2025 – 2 pm Start. This paved, flat trail offers two options. A shorter portion of the trail surrounds the southern edge of the lake with a longer option on the north side. Ambitious walkers could do the entire four mile loop, if weather permits. Walkers are welcome to go as far as they are comfortable and turn back if they choose to do so.
Meet at the parking lot on the east side of the lake. From Hwy 370 turn north onto 126th St., which skirts the west edge of Werner Park. Continue north to the second round-a-bout and turn west on Lincoln Rd, which takes you to the parking lot, visible on the north side of the road.
