Omaha Walking Club Trail, The Wetlands of Fontenelle Forest

Sunday, November 17, 2024 – 2 pm Start. This is a flat 2 mile trail in The Wetlands area of Fontenelle Forest. It had been a part of the original Omaha Walking Club Trail used for the past 100 years. In recent years it was kept open by FF volunteer, Les Lowery. Thanks to his efforts and repeated discussions with FF about its historic value, FF now plans to maintain it and put the trail “back on the map.” Les will join us for this walk!
Meet in the parking lot just outside the entrance gate to Gifford Farm.
