Winter Walks
The Omaha Walking Club has an annual club wide event at Chalco Hills every January followed by a short walk. In February one walk will be done at Big Elk Lake in Papillion.
The OWC weekly Sunday afternoon schedule resumes in March and continues into early June. A list of wonderful walks will be available online by late February. Some are on paved surfaces and others are on trails in the woods. You are welcome to join us for whatever walks interest you!
Distance will depend on the weather and the trail conditions. On longer hikes, walkers are always welcome to turn back if they choose to do so.
