River Crossings History Walk

May 13, 2018 @ 2:00 pm CDT

Meet at 2 pm near the west approach to the Pedestrian Bridge in the garden area just north of the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trails Visitor Center, 601 Riverfront Drive. (Free parking is on the south side of the building.)  The 3-mile walk will include the Pedestrian Bridge, then proceed downriver to the Union Pacific RR bridge and return by the same route.  The leader will make several stops to transport you back in time to Omaha’s past river crossing, speaking about ferries, bridges, and how the “Might Mo” changed throughout Omaha’s early years.
