DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, November 16\, 2025     –     There will be two walk options in this beautiful park in The Loess Hills of Western Iowa.  the first will be walking out and back\, using the Fox Run Ridge Trail.  the second will take us down the hill into the woods an later back to the ridge for a scenic view of the Iowa countryside.  A walking stick may be helpful.  There is a $5 entrance fee. \nDirections:    Drive East on I-680 into Iowa\, which turns into County Hwy G37.  Once in Crescent\, thru left (North) at Casey’s gas station and drive 3.5 miles to the turnoff to Hitchcock Nature Center.  Meet at the Visitors’ Center in the park at the end of the road.
