Omaha Walking Club Trail – The Wetlands of Fontenelle Forest

WEDNESDAY, Jun 8, 2022     –     6:30 pm Start.    Meet at The Wetlands parking lot for an evening, woodland walk to include the Omaha Walking Club Trail, recently cleared by Les Lowrey, Fontenelle Forest volunteer.  Les will be there to tell us of his work to reestablish the trail.  Walk will be less than two miles on the flat terrain.   Directions  –  From Fort Crook Road, turn East onto Childs Road.  Continue uphill, crossing Bellevue Blvd to go downhill and again uphill where the road narrows into Camp Gifford Road.  Follow this through the forest.  Shortly after crossing the RR tracks, the parking area will be on the North side.    Leader   –   Pamela M.    402-218-5714
