Glacier Creek Preserve

Sunday, October 27, 2024 – This nearly two mile walk through the Nebraska prairie is pretty in any season. Native grasses and wildflowers make this an interesting walk. The mulch trail does go up (and down) one steep hill, but to avoid this, an option would be to go out and back, passing the experimental plots rather than around the entire loop.
Directions: From State St., turn north at 148th St., which is the entrance to the preserve. Proceed down the rocky road to the white barn, where we will meet.
