Friday, 7/19/19 – Centennial Evening Reception and Walk

5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.   Fontenelle Forest Nature Center.   Longtime member, Doug Wenger, will speak about his and his parents’ experiences with the Omaha Walking Club.  Various photo albums and memorabilia will be available to view.  An ongoing slide show of pictures from old photo albums will run throughout the evening.  Marty Shelton will be there with custom made walking sticks for sale, some commemorating the OWC Centennial.  OWC Centennial T-shirts, pens, and grocery bags will be for sale. Those interested may do the one-mile walk on the boardwalk from the Nature Center.  This is a catered event.  Cost is $15 per person, to be paid by July 12 to Judy A. or Pamela M. or $20 at the door.  Please call Pamela if you have questions at 402-339-5315.
