SUMMARY:American Heroes Park - Bellevue
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, March 1\, 2026     –     2 pm Start.    This 1.4 mile walk will take us into the woods at the north edge of American Heroes Park.  (If muddy\, we may wander around the pond on the .62 mile paved trail.) \nDirections    –    Drive east on Mission Ave. passing through downtown Bellevue.  Just before reaching the toll bridge across the Missouri River\, turn north into American Heroes Park.  Drive past the playground to the farthest parking lot where we will meet to start the walk. \n  \nLeader    –    Charlene S.    402-536-9357

SUMMARY:American Heroes Park in Bellevue
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 19\, 2025     –     2 pm Start.     Although the initial portion of the walk from the parking lot will be paved\,  we will proceed to a one and one half mile walk in a wooded area north of the paved paths.  Part of the walk will be along the Missouri River.  Along the way we will see plaques detailing history of the area. \nMeet at the parking lot closest to the woods at the north end of the park.  To get there\, drive East through Old Town Bellevue on Mission Ave. and turn North (left) into the park just before reaching the Missouri River toll bridge.  Proceed past the playground all the way through the park\, ending at the parking lot where we will meet. \nLeader     –     Wilma V.     402-506-0962
